Committed to the energy and
ecological transition

Eiffage Énergie Systèmes weaves energy efficiency into each of its businesses, from the design stage through to operation and maintenance, delivering innovative solutions and optimising customers' projects of all kinds.

Reducing our ecological footprint

At Eiffage Énergie Systèmes, we consciously address our ecological footprint and have integrated environmental criteria into our organisation, in particular by introducing an ISO 14001 certified environmental strategy.

This corporate strategy manages environmental risks while upholding sustainable development and anticipating future requirements in a life cycle-focused approach.

Renewable energy experts

Eiffage Énergie Systèmes and its subsidiaries have proven expertise in the field of renewable energy (specifically, wind and photovoltaic power). In Latin America, this know-how, particularly in the field of photovoltaic power, is championed by the Spanish subsidiary Eiffage Energia, which operates as a full-spectrum contractor designing, engineering, commissioning and maintaining infrastructure.

Developing strong energy performance

Eiffage Énergie Systèmes has chosen to have nine of its buildings and the related vehicle fleet certified under the ISO 50001 standard. The purpose of this certification is to optimise their energy performance, develop an in-house network of experts and prioritise procurement of energy-efficient products and services.

Eiffage Énergie Systèmes is the French leader in cogeneration for market gardening, operating 116 facilities in France with an installed capacity of 500 mWh electricity and 500 MWh thermal energy. This process recovers carbon dioxide in order to stimulate photosynthesis, while also producing electricity, which is sold by market gardeners to the power utility EDF. Eiffage Énergie Systèmes designs, builds, runs and maintains these cogeneration plants, which are certified ISO 50001 compliant.

In 2010, Eiffage Énergie Systèmes agreed a 15-year energy performance contract with the Centre regional council, relating to the operation of energy systems at 19 secondary schools. Eiffage Énergie Systèmes has made a commitment to achieve energy savings of approximately 35% and a 49% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2025.

Committed to sustainable cities

Our ambition is to operate as a systems integrator empowering large-scale sustainable development by designing tomorrow's intelligent, connected cities, facilitating urban and intercity travel, inventing new mobility solutions and leading the industry in low-carbon construction, sustainable roads and renewable energy.
