Expercité : in Roubaix, our experts are reinforcing urban safety in the Bouvines district.

In order to combat vandalism and incivility more efficiently in this disadvantaged area of Roubaix, our employees worked staggered shifts (between 5.30 am and 7 pm) to install ten CCTV cameras. All 31 members of our urban safety service were involved in raising four 12-metre-high concrete masts each supplied with a camera, LED flash and loudspeaker, and anti-climbing harrows with a diameter of over 2 m. Our teams coordinated the work of five different trades (for civil engineering, camera mounting, optical fibre laying etc.) to install this deterrent equipment. This operation, which would normally require a week’s work, was completed in a day, stopwatch in hand. A total of 130 CCTV cameras have been deployed in the town in the space of ten years, and our experts have commissioned a supervision centre equipped with a video wall enabling round-the-clock protection.
