Valenciennes Métropole entrusts Expercité with burying networks on the Cuvinot housing estate

Between now and December 2025, our experts are to carry out 4 km of joint trenching to bury the networks: low voltage, urban lighting, telecoms (Orange) and video surveillance. They will also have to rework 390 electrical connections, install 156 LED streetlights and remove 3.5 km of overhead networks, as well as 60 concrete poles.

These works are intended to improve the living environment for the inhabitants of a 24-hectare mining estate. In addition to burying the networks, the public contract includes three other lots: sanitation, roads and landscaping," explained business manager Marie Caillaux.

Cuvinot housing estate was built between 1914 and 1930 by the Compagnie des Mines d'Anzin and is the largest in the Metropolis. It comprises 414 individual homes spread over the municipalities of Onnaing and Vicq.
