Eiffage, in a consortium with Lorraine Énergie and DEF, is carrying out the technical works package for the restoration of Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris.
Eiffage, through its subsidiary Eiffage Énergie Systèmes (lead contractor), has won the technical macro-lot awarded by the public institution Rebâtir Notre-Dame de Paris, the contracting authority for the cathedral restoration project, in a consortium with Lorraine Énergie, a company specialising in heating, ventilation and air conditioning, and DEF, a French manufacturer of fire safety systems.
The project, which is currently underway, includes IT installations, building security and technical management, all high-voltage systems, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, plumbing, as well as the fire safety system and an emergency power generator.
The consortium is fully committed and determined to contribute to the success of this exceptional project, which will lead to the reopening of the cathedral in December 2024.
