When work is completed in late 2018, the site will be home to no less than 17,100 sq. m of stores and restaurants, 13,600 sq. m of commercial premises, a five-star InterContinental hotel, a conference centre, apartments and the International City of Gastronomy centre.
Working alongside teams from Eiffage Construction, Eiffage Énergie Systèmes is applying its expertise to design and install the energy systems and data networks. Our teams are building the air handling systems for the whole site. Heating and air conditioning are provided by heat pumps supplied by four geothermal intakes sunk 20 m deep into the Rhône water table. For the electrical system, 200 km of electrical wiring, 1 km of lighting track and no fewer than 800 light fittings have been installed to custom specifications in order to meet the property's requirements.
