Eiffage Énergie Systèmes opens its new branch in Saint-Jean-d'Angély

The complex was designed by La Rochelle-based architects Impact Urbanisme, comprising an office building, storage area and warehouse. It is located in the heart of the Arcadys business park, just a few hundred metres from the A10 motorway.

 

The branch employs around one hundred people and has two areas of expertise: infrastructure and electrical and HVAC engineering. 

This new complex confirms Eiffage Energie Systèmes' ambition to pursue its development in the region and demonstrates the Group's commitment to low-carbon solutions with a strong environmental dimension, particularly through solar PV facilities : 

- Roof-mounted solar panels and photovoltaic car park shades 

- 150 kWp installed capacity 

- 30 to 40% of the branch's energy needs 

- 10 charging points for electric vehicles 

 

The work was launched in early 2022 and carried out by local Charente and Charente Maritime firms. It took just over a year to complete.  

Eiffage Énergie Systèmes’ teams moved into these new premises in March 2023. 

The official opening was attended by Françoise Mesnard, Mayor of Saint-Jean-d'Angély; Jean-Claude Godineau, President of the Vals de Saintonge Municipalities Community; Saint-Jean-d'Angély sub-prefect Marie-Pierre Lamour;  Eiffage Énergie Systèmes’ Nouvelle Aquitaine Regional Director Jean-Jacques Pince, and branch managers Erick Daindinnaud and Jean-Philippe Piochon.
